A coalition Administration has been formed for the Scottish Borders Council from the two largest parties - Scottish Conservatives and Scottish Liberal Democrats together with aligned Independent members. Their agreed main policies for the next 4 years are set out in the Bright Future for the Borders menu on the left while the main appointments within the Council are also given in the SBC Appointments menu.
The Council and Scottish Parliament elections took place on Thursday 3rd May 2007 so check out our May 2007 Elections page and our LibDem Manifesto for the Borders page, on the left of the screen. You can see information on each Ward with the Liberal Democrat priorities and details of the candidates.
