Jeremy's week ahead11.10.03am GMT Mon 26th Nov 2007 Week beginning 26 November 2007 On Monday morning Jeremy will be meeting with a representative from the Private and Public Partnership Program to discuss funding for sporting facilities in local High Schools. He will then be visiting the Gala Day Services group to discuss funding initiatives. In the afternoon Jeremy will be visiting the Royal Academy for Music and Drama and will be meeting the Principal to discuss the innovative work that is currently underway in the Academy. On Tuesday morning Jeremy will be giving West Linton Primary School's P7 a tour round Parliament and answering any questions that the youngsters may have. In the evening he will be attending the Parliamentary reception for Parkinson's disease. On Wednesday morning Jeremy will be in the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture committee where the Committee will meet with the Association of Colleges, Universities of Scotland and Scottish Funding Council to further discuss the Graduate Endowment Abolition (Scotland) Bill. Jeremy will then be co-sponsoring 'Science in the Parliament' which will consist of an afternoon of speeches, discussions and networking, and will involve up to 300 scientists. On Thursday morning Jeremy will be meeting a representative from OfCom Scotland to discuss the future of Border ITV. Jeremy will then be in the Chamber for Themed Question Time and the Government's debate on St Andrew's Day. In the evening Jeremy will be attending a dinner held by the BBC in Glasgow. On Friday Jeremy will be visiting St Ronan's Primary School in Innerleithen to meet the children. Jeremy will then be holding his regular surgery in the Citizens Advice Bureau in Galashiels from 4.30-6pm; constituents are welcome to attend at any point between these times. In the evening Jeremy will be attending the Borders Manufacturers Michaelmas Ball. On Saturday afternoon Jeremy will be attending the Penicuik Christmas Lights Ceremony where the Christmas lights will be switched on at 4.15pm.
