Jeremy's week ahead11.29.29am GMT Mon 4th Feb 2008 Week beginning 4th February 2008 On Monday morning Jeremy will be visiting the Borders Forum on Competitiveness before going on a tour of Ettrick Riverside in Selkirk. Jeremy will then be attending a meeting concerning Penicuik Capital Investment. He will then be participating in the Radio Borders debate on Berwick; which will discuss whether Berwick should be deemed a Scottish or English town. On Tuesday morning Jeremy will be holding a meeting with Government officials to discuss the Graduate Endowment Abolition (Scotland) Bill. In the afternoon, Jeremy will be meeting with the ITV Director of News and Regions to discuss ITV's proposed changes to regional news. On Wednesday morning Jeremy will be in the Education, Lifelong Learning and Culture Committee. Jeremy will then be in the Chamber for the Stage 3 Debate on the Budget (Scotland) Bill, followed by the Legislative Consent Motion on the Education and Skills Bill. On Thursday morning Jeremy will be attending an Art Advisory Group Meeting, which will be discussing new proposals for 2009. Jeremy will then be in the Chamber for the Ministerial Statement on Support for Survivors of Historic In-care and Institutional Abuse followed by the Government Debate on Commercial Forestry. In the afternoon, Jeremy will be in the Chamber for the Scottish Government Debate on Local Government Finance (Scotland) Order 2008. On Friday morning Jeremy will be attending a Borders Voluntary Community Care Forum in the Scottish Borders. Jeremy will then be holding his regular surgery in the Citizens Advice Bureau, Galashiels, from 4.30-6pm; constituents are welcome to drop in at any point between those times. On Saturday morning, Jeremy will be attending the West Linton Whipman Play Society Coffee Morning. Afterwards, Jeremy will be attending the West Linton First Responders blood pressure testing event and 1st year anniversary celebrations.
