Unfortunately, where we put up 2 candidates in a single Ward we were only able to return one LibDem councillor. For the detailed results of the SBC election -. A multi-talented, multi-skilled teamThe Borders Lib Dems fielded a strong multi-talented team for the 3rd May 2007 Scottish Borders Council election. Their current and previous experiences cover commerce, business, local government, teaching, NHS, computing, farming, transport, art and drama. There is good representation of female candidates, including two young mothers. Scottish Parliament electionOn the same date there were elections for the Scottish Parliament and we were fortunate to have Jeremy Purvis re-elected for Tweeddale, Ettrick and Lauderdale and Jim Hume elected as the LibDem List MSP for the South of Scotland. Unfortunately, Euan Robson wasn't re-elected this time. Jeremy Purvis, MSP for Tweeddale, Ettrick and Lauderdale. Jim Hume, List MSP for South of Scotland.
